Type: Solar Event

About: Monday, April 8, 2024, parts of North America experienced a total solar eclipse. I had the opportunity to travel to Terre Haute, Indiana to image the event. The next solar eclipse that will pass through North America is scheduled for August 2044.

Imaging Camera: Canon 6D with Tokina 500mm F/8 Super Telephoto lens

Mount: Celestron AVX

Guiding: N/A

Filters and Frames: Contacts 1 and 3 were at 1/400s @ ISO 200. Totality was taken at various lengths from 1/4000s up t0 1 second at ISO 400.
